You got that right! Despite the heat, I think a good time was had by all! I really enjoy being able to sit with friends and laugh and just enjoy each others company. The work shops were informational and entertaining. Good job to all of those who were kind enough to put forth the effort. The raffle was hit as well. Good food, Good Company, and Good Time. Tom and Mindy...hats off to ya. Joe...relax(joke) and thanks for the work and effort you have put in lately. Hope to hear from you soon. P.S. did you get the number? hahaha!

I would like to say a BIG thank you to Joe's Mom and Dad and Mike Mallett for cooking all the BBQ in the extreme heat. Joe for all the help setting up, the leash workshop, the raffle. Catherine and Randy Simmons for the help with registration and dues and staying late at night with the clean up. Steve Heying and Mike Mallett for the same! Bill Brandel with the morning help (I needed those rocks!). All the kids helping with the huge raffle and I think they all enjoyed the "jack rabbit" pinata! Mr. Greg Thomas from Indiana as our guest speaker. Dennis Samnee for his hood demo and all the other falconers that gave the lure and trap demos. I missed the demos and guest speaker because I was attending to the raffle :(. A big huge thank you to my daughter Megan, who, like last year set up the raffle. I don't think it would have been as successful without her. Thanks to all the members that brought food and raffle items. Lastly....Tom who put your heart and soul into the whole affair and created one of the best workshops, program and events ever! This year was definitely an affair for the apprentices! There has been many suggestions to move the picnic to September next year because of the extreme heat and I for one agree. Hope to see you all at the first field meet in October!

We counted over 82 members, family, friends and guests that came out and battled the extreme heat. I want to thank each and every one that came out to support your club!
